Duveholmsgruppen is seeking on-call staff for HVB (residential care) operations in Katrineholm.

Duveholmsgruppen works to provide high-quality HVB operations with appropriate interventions based on proven experience and evidence-based methods.

We offer a homelike and secure environment for children and young people aged 13–17 with psychosocial and neuropsychiatric issues. These young people are in a particularly vulnerable situation, often dealing with broken relationships, diagnoses, and traumas.

Therefore, they have specific needs for high staff density, predictability, and security. These keywords permeate the support we offer the young people in our residence. The operation is supported by psychologists, psychiatrists, doctors, counselors, nurses, and other competencies.

Your Role

We are looking for on-call staff who can work on an as-needed basis at Duveholmsgruppen HVB.

As an on-call employee, you work on an as-needed basis, meaning you may be offered shifts with short notice, ranging from a few hours to longer assignments. You contribute to covering both planned and unplanned absences as well as temporarily increased staffing needs.

Working hours include day shifts, evening shifts, and sleeping night shifts.

Responsibilities

The tasks are varied and consist largely of work in daily operations. This includes, among other things, cooking, cleaning, transportation, motivational conversations, and ongoing documentation in journals. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Documentation in the role is a requirement. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the young people to develop their abilities and to create conditions for an active and meaningful leisure time.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have completed or started adequate education such as social worker, behavioral scientist, social pedagogue, care assistant, or equivalent higher vocational education (YH).

We would appreciate it if you have experience with similar tasks or working with children and young people in similar operations. You are driven by a strong commitment to the target group and have a genuine interest in making a difference in the young people's daily lives.

To thrive in the role, you need to be able to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with colleagues. You are a secure and stable person with a good ability to put yourself in others' perspectives and situations without losing your professional approach.

Within the operation, we work with a low-affective approach, and we expect you to meet our young people with care, security, and respect. The work places high demands on good interaction, a pedagogical approach, and the ability to work in a structured manner.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

A Class B driver's license is a requirement.
