At Jägersrohälsan in Malmö, we run a healthcare center with high ambitions for patient experience, accessibility, and work environment. We work in teams, with continuity and a clear focus on making care simple, safe, and accessible for the patient. We operate on behalf of Region Skåne, but also want to develop how primary care can be practiced in reality.
Real people answer the phone here; we call back when it suits the patient, and we use digital tools where they actually improve care. In short – we challenge established ways of working where it creates value.
Since its start in autumn 2023, Jägersrohälsan has grown rapidly and established itself as one of Malmö's highest-rated healthcare centers in the National Patient Survey. The operation currently includes a healthcare center, a branch in central Malmö, Child Health Services (BVC), and a midwife clinic. The next step is continued growth in Malmö!
About the role
As a receptionist here, you will work with a variety of tasks including arrival registration, patient contact, registration, and administration in various systems. You have significant autonomy to own and be responsible for your area together with your colleagues in the reception, establishing common routines and working methods, supported by your skills and experience.
You are the first person our patients meet and play a key role in creating a warm, professional, and secure first impression. You welcome patients of all ages and life situations, guide them appropriately, and ensure they receive good treatment throughout their visit. We are looking for someone with a strong sense of service, who inspires trust and communicates clearly, calmly, and professionally.
At our center, all professional categories work both independently and in teams – always with the patient's best interest as the common driving force. We believe in a collaboration where everyone wins: the patient, you as an employee, and the organization. Through shared knowledge and collective responsibility, we create a flexible and modern care environment characterized by trust and engagement.
Your responsibilities include:
- Receiving and welcoming patients and visitors
- Answering phone calls and providing good service
- Managing time bookings, rescheduling, and summonses
- Registering patients and administering visits
- Handling incoming mail, referrals, and other administration
- Collaborating with different healthcare professions for a smooth patient flow
- Contributing to the development of the operation and a positive work climate
Your qualifications:
For us, it is obvious that we help each other to reach our common goal. Therefore, we are looking for you who are service-oriented, self-starting, flexible, responsible, and unpretentious, with excellent collaboration skills. You have a professional and friendly demeanor, are structured, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where several tasks are ongoing simultaneously.
We would appreciate if you have experience in reception work within healthcare and familiarity with PMO, Lissy, and Pasis, as well as healthcare administration, but most importantly, we value your sense of service, your engagement, and your willingness to contribute to a well-functioning operation.
You must share our core values regarding patient safety, accessibility, privacy, infection control, and emergency preparedness.
Requirements:
- Experience with PMO
- Experience working in a reception
Merits:
- Experience with Lissy and Pasis
- Experience in privately run healthcare centers within Region Skåne
We offer:
- A work environment characterized by lack of pretension, engagement, and shared responsibility
- Opportunity to actively participate in the development of the operation
- Core values that we as healthcare providers adhere to and that you as healthcare personnel can be proud of
- Collective agreement and wellness allowance
