Ellios Dog & Cat is a small, well-stocked dog and cat shop located on Gärdet. We have been in business since 1994 and have a loyal customer base of dogs and cats from Östermalm. Since the summer of 2025, we also operate a dog shop in Gamla Stan, Ellios Gamla Stan.

Stepping into Ellios should feel delightful: browsing through our items, receiving knowledgeable assistance, and chatting with us about your beloved pets.

In our stores, we sell both standard products and more exclusive, niche brands. Therefore, we are looking for someone who, like us, has a passion for design and gadgets!

Ellios is now looking for our new colleague, and we hope it’s you! You should be someone who enjoys variety, where no two days are the same, and who thrives working independently. You enjoy challenges and can help us achieve our goals for both the physical store and the online shop.

You will be involved in a variety of retail tasks, including: working as a sales assistant in the store and helping our customers, receiving deliveries, unpacking, stocking shelves, cleaning, and packing online orders. The role involves frequent lifting, sometimes of heavy items.

In addition to standard retail duties, the role includes some work with the online shop and social media. Therefore, we expect you to be digitally savvy and interested in this area.

We believe you:

• Have extensive knowledge about dogs and cats.
• Have previous experience working in a pet shop. You possess knowledge about food and accessories, allowing you to assist customers independently after a short introduction to our range.
• Have a strong plus if you are interested in and have knowledge of photography and social media.
• Are service-oriented and can express yourself well in writing and speech in Swedish. As we have many English-speaking customers, it is beneficial if you can also speak English at a decent level.
• Have a positive outlook on people and are curious about both humans and animals.
• Have a good sense of order and the ability to see what needs to be done, prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The position is approximately 75 %, including weekdays and weekends.
