About me:

I am a 52-year-old man with a twinkle in my eye, and my heart beats for football! I live alone in my apartment in Jakobsberg, a five-minute walk from the center and commuter train station. This is primarily where the assistance takes place.

Unfortunately, I don't have time for much of this anymore, but I would love to get started again.

Due to my illness (MS), you, as my assistant, will help me in my daily life with everything from video editing to toilet assistance and various household chores. I have also started to see a bit worse, so you may need to read my mail, help me write, or contact authorities.

Who are you?

I hope that you are a positive person. It is important to me that your Swedish is good both in speech and writing. This is because I sometimes have difficulty understanding what is being said due to my illness. In your role, you will also need to support me in contacting authorities and healthcare services.

Our chemistry and connection are of great importance. To succeed, you need to be attentive and humble. A plus if you are interested in football and podcasts.

It is a plus if you have experience with assistive devices such as floor lifts and ceiling lifts.

About the position:

Temporary work, but also fixed shifts on the schedule up to approx. 50%

What does the working time look like?

Mixed shifts both weekdays and weekends.

Mon-Fri 8:00-16:45

Sat-Sun 09:00-16:30

Also some evenings 18:00-21:00

Requirements

• Fluent in speaking and writing Swedish

Merits

• Previous experience in the profession of personal assistance

Before we offer employment, you must show an unopened extract from the police's criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, for example, a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.

We train our employees to ensure the quality of personal assistance. All our new employees complete a web-based introductory training for personal assistants before their first work shift, or at the latest within one month after the start of employment.

As a personal assistant at Hela Sveriges Assistans AB, you are covered by the Almega/Healthcare Employers' collective agreement, including agreed pension, education, and favorable wellness benefits.
