About the role
As a unit manager at Björnö, you combine administrative leadership with being present in the daily care work. The split is approximately 40% administrative work and 60% care work. You are a role model who leads by your own actions and creates a work climate characterized by the Humana spirit: engagement, responsibility, and joy.
Close leadership: You have personnel and planning responsibility for your unit. Your focus is to support, give feedback, and ensure quality in the operations according to Humana's methods.
Development: You are part of the local management team and report to the Operations Manager. Here you get to influence the future of the residence.
About us
Humana Björnö is a modern and homely elderly residence located in a quiet area close to nature in Norrtälje. The residence has a large garden with a greenhouse, allotment gardens, walking trails, and cozy outdoor areas for rest and community.
Humana Björnö consists of 60 homely apartments, divided into six units with ten apartments each. Each unit has a shared kitchen/dining room and living room. Each floor consists of two units connected by a shared enclosed balcony with infrared heating and views of the surrounding area.
We base our care on person-centered care and support where our customers are in focus. Here we employ nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, an Assistant Operations Manager, and an Operations Manager.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and who are passionate about developing both people and operations. As a leader, you are secure, unpretentious, and have a natural ability to motivate others.
We are looking for you who:
Are clear in your communication and create participation in the team.
Have a coaching approach and are sensitive to the needs of both residents and employees.
Are solution-oriented and take responsibility for both quality and economic frameworks.
Speak and write fluent Swedish and have good computer skills.
Merits
Long experience within elderly care.
Completed education "Leading without being a manager" or equivalent leadership training.
Experience in mentoring and introducing new staff.
Experience in scheduling and personnel planning.
Knowledge of dementia and cognitive impairment.
Experience in quality and improvement work.
Good knowledge of laws and regulations within elderly care, e.g., SoL and HSL.
Experience of collaboration with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.
Accustomed to working in documentation systems, e.g., WeCare.
Experience working with shifts.
Experience in leadership within elderly care is seen as a merit, but we place the greatest emphasis on your personal suitability and your desire to grow with us.

About the position:
Working hours and degree: Day, evening, and night – 100 %.
Employment type: Permanent position, we apply a six-month probation period.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting for base salary. Other compensations are given according to collective agreements.
Start date: Immediately or by agreement.
