Restaurant Himlen is located on the 25th and 26th floors of Skrapan right in the middle of Götgatan. Our ambition is to offer our guests a holistic experience in an environment with stunning views and a relaxed southern Stockholm vibe. Our two restaurants maintain high quality in food, drinks, and service. The kitchen, with 46 seats, and the Grill & Cocktail bar, with 60 seats plus an additional 150 seats in the bar area, offer our guests exciting menus. As close to heaven as you can get! Welcome. Are you our new Kitchen Manager at Himlen?
We are looking for someone who has worked in high-standard à la carte kitchens, held a supervisory role for some time, and wants to join us on the journey to becoming a classic on Södermalm. You have natural leadership skills, are quality-conscious, and want to work with a team that loves the guest. The position involves day shifts, evening shifts, and weekends.
About the role
Your main responsibilities are to work actively in service and lead the kitchen team in daily operations in a structured and efficient manner. You ensure food quality and make sure everyone is working towards the same goals. You are responsible for purchasing and ensuring that food costs and labor costs are kept within budget. You work closely with the Head Chef, who is your direct manager. The primary administrative responsibility lies with the Head Chef, who will also be active in production and service.
We believe you have
- At least 3 years of experience as a cook in high-standard à la carte kitchens.
- Experience in supervisory roles, such as Sous Chef.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Passion and interest in cooking.
