We are now looking for even more enthusiastic students to join Academic Works' student pool at our client's site in Landvetter! About the position
Academic Work is looking for new enthusiastic students for our student pool at Landvetter! As a terminal worker, you work on an as-needed basis, but you should be available for at least 2 shifts/week during the terms, but now in the summer for all of June and August. You will become part of our student pool where we see that you are available to be booked primarily for morning shifts.
The work shifts are scheduled on weekdays from 04:00–08:30, and evening shifts from 16:00–20:00 may also be relevant.
You will become part of a work group with a really nice atmosphere and team spirit. Job Responsibilities
You handle incoming shipments from both air and truck and, together with the rest of the team, manage the entire work process up to the loading of courier vehicles. You work in close cooperation with the rest of the group at a high pace during certain periods.
- Pallet and package handling
- Sorting and loading
- Package scanning
- Loading of courier vehicles
We are looking for you who
- Are studying a post-secondary education with at least 1–2 years remaining, without internship periods
- Can work morning and evening shifts
- Have work experience in a physically demanding job
- Have your own car and driver's license
- Speak and understand Swedish fluently as this is required in the daily work tasks
- Have a clean criminal record extract
- Are available for training in July and full-time in August (morning shifts)
It is an advantage if you:
- Have previous experience from a similar position
The position suits you who are meticulous, flexible, and self-reliant. We believe that you are quick to learn and enjoy working at a high pace. Since the work may involve a fair amount of heavy lifting, it is advantageous if you are in good physical shape. We also see that you are open, social, and have no problems working together in a group.

Other information
The client's terminal is located adjacent to Landvetter Airport. The airport is a security-classified area, and therefore you will be registered and controlled according to the Swedish Transport Agency's regulations, and a extract from the criminal record register from the Police Authority will be requested. We will also need to conduct a 5-year control, which is also for security reasons.
