Do you want to be part of the Swedish Armed Forces' growth in Skövde Garrison and contribute to building a stronger defense? Then we welcome your application to the Supply Department for a logistics job within warehouse operations characterized by a forward-looking attitude and development. We are looking for you who want to work with both practical and administrative tasks within warehousing and material supply. As an employee in our team, the first months are characterized by training, both through peer training in Skövde and courses elsewhere, so that you can then work in various functions, including:
- Supplying soldiers with clothing material, from underwear to combat equipment.
- Working with issuing, receiving, reporting, and storing heavier equipment and vehicles that units need for their training and readiness.
About the Unit
P 4 Supply Department is part of the Logistics Unit in Skövde Garrison with the task of supplying units with the provisions and services needed to train and exercise combat units.
Main Tasks
Working days are varied with practical tasks both indoors and outdoors, as well as administrative tasks to ensure correct inventory balances. This requires good computer skills. Initially, the work focuses on issuing uniforms to soldiers (arming) and participating in laundry exchanges and return of uniforms (disarming). Later, you will learn a variety of different material systems. You need to have good physical fitness and a positive attitude towards exercise; we train strength and endurance for 3 hours a week during working hours. Heavy lifting is common, and work is performed outdoors regardless of weather and season. Joint tasks in the section include inventory, customer contact, and collaboration with other sections within the department.
About the Job
- Participate in training to handle existing material systems.
- Deliver provisions and services to all units in Skövde Garrison.
- Customer contact during delivery and receipt of material.
- Report material in our reporting systems LIFT and PRIO (SAP).
- Perform physical training during working hours.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Good computer skills and experience working in PC/Network (Windows environment).
- Good physical fitness regarding endurance and strength. Heavy lifting occurs, and work is often performed in outdoor environments regardless of weather.
- Upper secondary education or competence acquired through work experience assessed by the employer as equivalent.
- Driver's License Class B.
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Driver's license for heavy truck with trailer.
- Qualification for counterbalance forklift and wheel loader.
- Experience with the Swedish Armed Forces' computer systems such as LIFT and PRIO (SAP).

Employment type: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period.
Full-time equivalent: Full-time. Working hours are normally 07:00–16:00; evening or weekend work occurs.
Workplace: Skövde and in some periods Älvdalen shooting range. Travel in service occurs for both work and training. You will be war-placed in a position within the P 4 logistics organization, which means you will receive training on what is expected of you at heightened readiness.

Skaraborg Regiment, P 4, has operations from Älvdalen in the north to Remmene in the south. The leadership is located in Skövde where the majority of conscript training takes place. The regiment's task is to recruit and train conscripts and personnel for two armored battalions, a heavy transport company, and a brigade reconnaissance company. P 4 is also responsible for a brigade staff that, in times of crisis and war, should lead large parts of the army's units.
