to apply for the job

We are now looking for an engaged Transport Manager for an exciting assignment. You will have a key role in the daily planning of vehicles, personnel, and flows, contributing to creating a good pace and sustainable, world-class logistics.

About the Role

As a Transport Manager, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on the company's transports from order to completed assignment. You receive order details from our customer service colleagues and then distribute driving assignments to the vehicles you are responsible for. You ensure that the right resources are in place and handle any challenges that arise during the day.

The role involves broad responsibilities, including:

  • Planning driving schedules and staffing based on incoming order flows.
  • Handling deviations and daily problems that may arise in the field.
  • Maintaining ongoing contact with drivers, customer service, and external partners.
  • Following up on and reviewing invoice documentation.
  • Contributing to the improvement of routines and processes as the business grows.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has some experience in transport management, logistics, or a similar coordinating role.
  • Thrives in an environment where things happen quickly and days rarely go exactly as planned.
  • Is computer literate. Experience with planning tools is considered a merit.
  • Communicates fluently in Swedish/English and has the ability to build good relationships with drivers and colleagues.
  • Has a B-driver's license and good local knowledge of Västra Götaland.

As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and genuinely engaged. You enjoy taking responsibility, finding ways forward, and creating order in a rapidly developing operation. You are unpretentious, enjoy being close to the operations, and appreciate the interaction with both colleagues and drivers. Most importantly, it is not about exactly how many years of experience you have, but that you have the right attitude, drive, and willingness to contribute.

This is a role for you if you like to keep track of the situation and are good at ensuring the team is doing well. You know that a good day at work doesn't always mean everything went according to plan, but that you solved problems to the best of your ability.

About the Employment

This is a 10-month consultancy assignment where you will be employed by OIO and work as a consultant for our partner company. There are good opportunities for continued employment with the company, provided you enjoy the role and both parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

  • Scope: Full-time
  • Working hours: 06:00–15:00
  • Start date: September 2026
  • Location: Southern Gothenburg
