About the role
As Business Manager at Hybridge, you have overall responsibility for business and market issues within your area of responsibility, with a focus on long-term profitability, customer satisfaction, and the company's other strategic goals.
This is a key role where you are responsible for initiating, driving, and developing the company's business from early inquiries to contracted projects, as well as ensuring a structured handover to the project organization. You act as business support to the project organization during the implementation phase and are responsible for ensuring that contracts, commercial terms, and customer relationships are handled appropriately.
Furthermore, you are part of our marketing group with joint budget responsibility and work closely with our CEO, Group Director, Business and Regional Director Halland & Västergötland, and other Business Managers. You have great freedom in the role while having access to a supportive and experienced team.
Your main areas of responsibility:
- Drive and develop marketing and sales strategies within your area of responsibility based on the current budget.
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Lead and manage sales activities within your area of responsibility based on the current budget.
- Receive and register project inquiries, assess risks, and determine which projects we should bid on.
- Calculate and submit bids.
- Negotiate, enter into, and sign contracts with clients, and represent the company as an agent in business and contract-related matters.
- Ensure that business is conducted in accordance with contracts, current legislation, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Act as business support to project managers during project implementation regarding matters concerning contracts, commercial terms, and customer relationships.
About you
We believe that you currently work as a Site Manager, Project Manager, or Business Manager with good experience in general contracting and a strong business sense. You have experience with commercial construction projects, feel confident in both technical and commercial matters, and are accustomed to taking responsibility, making decisions, and building long-term customer relationships.
To thrive and succeed in the role, you are business-minded, driven, and results-oriented with strong initiative. You are communicative, trustworthy, and skilled at building relationships and negotiating. At the same time, you work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, have an eye for detail, and the ability to engage and lead others through collaboration and clarity, even without formal personnel responsibility.
We would like you to have:
- At least five years of experience in a similar role, such as Site Manager, Project Manager, or Business Manager.
- Good experience from the construction industry within general contracting.
- Documented experience in business development, bidding, and sales.
- Strong construction technical understanding.
- Relevant education in areas such as construction technology or economics, but we place greater emphasis on your experience, results, and personal qualities than on formal education.
- An established network in the Gothenburg region is an advantage.
- Experience from our industry is an advantage.
