We are now looking for a Service Technician who wants to take responsibility for their own service district based in Falun.

About the Role
As a Service Technician at Corob, you work with service, troubleshooting, and repair of our automated color mixing machines. Our solutions are used daily by paint retailers and industrial customers to ensure fast and precise color mixing. You are responsible for your own geographical service district and build long-term relationships with your customers.

You work from home with a service vehicle and plan your own working days based on your service assignments. The role consists mainly of scheduled service visits, troubleshooting, and repairs at customer sites. You work independently, but always have close support from experienced colleagues and technical expertise via phone and Teams. After each assignment, you document your work in our business system.

The position is primarily Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00, and involves regular travel with approximately 20–30 overnight stays per year, although the number may vary depending on business needs. If necessary, service technicians also support each other across regional borders and sometimes in other parts of Scandinavia.

You are responsible for a district that mainly covers Falun, Gävle, northern Uppland, and Dalarna, with some assignments westward and southward towards Örebro County. We prefer that you are based in Falun or a nearby town.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have a genuine technical interest and enjoy troubleshooting, solving problems, and working practically. You might currently work as a Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, Automotive Mechanic, or Workshop Technician – or have another technical background where you have developed a good understanding of mechanics, electricity, or electronics.

You are responsible, structured, and thrive in independent work where you plan your days and build long-term relationships with customers. Documentation and administration in digital systems are a natural part of your working style.

The role involves regular travel and overnight stays, which means you need to enjoy mobile work and be flexible when needed. At the same time, you appreciate being part of a team where people support each other and work together to provide customers with the best possible service.

Requirements

• Experience in technical work, such as service, troubleshooting, or repair
• Category B driver's license
• Good digital skills and experience with Microsoft Office
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Good English in speech and writing
