Service Technician – Gothenburg

Pirtek Sweden AB specializes in on-site mobile hydraulic hose manufacturing. We assist our customers in Stockholm, Mälardalen, Uppsala, Gothenburg, Borås, Malmö, Helsingborg, Linköping, and Norrköping with their surroundings. Since 2008, we have completed over 100,000 assignments.

We are in an expansion phase and need to increase our team of technicians in Gothenburg. We are looking for someone with a strong sense of service, who can take on significant responsibility and loves to tinker and fix things.

Slangakuten – powered by Pirtek (formerly Pirtek Sweden AB) is part of Pirtek Europe, which operates in France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, England, Scotland, and Ireland. Together, we have over 800 hose buses and 200 centers in Europe. Pirtek as a whole is currently the world's largest hose bus company. In Sweden, we are approximately 30 people spread across Stockholm, Gothenburg, Östergötland, and Skåne.

In Sweden, Slangakuten – powered by Pirtek has grown significantly in recent years, and we intend to continue this growth. About the Service Technician role

As a service technician with us, you will work with a strong operational focus and participate in the daily work of mobile hydraulic hose manufacturing. A key focus in the role of service technician is to exceed customer expectations every time with well-executed work, where communication is key.

The employment type for this role is a fixed-term probationary position.

Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing and replacing hydraulic hoses on various vehicles, objects, and facilities.
• Performing preventive maintenance for customers to minimize the risk of downtime.
• Conducting customer care activities (customer visits) independently and/or together with your colleagues from the company.
• Being responsible for your service bus – it is your own workplace.

To succeed in the role, we believe you:

• Are goal- and result-oriented.
• Have a good ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Have a strong desire to learn new things and develop.
• Are involved, present, engaged, and happy to provide improvement suggestions.
• Have good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing – due to the tasks, daily contact with customers, and reading and understanding instructions.

It is also an advantage if you have:

• Previous experience with hydraulics and similar jobs is highly meritorious.
