Description
We are now expanding our property organization and are therefore looking for a Drift Engineer (Facility Technician) to join Bjurholm Municipality. This is to cover the need as we expand with new, technically complex properties. You will be offered a varied and challenging job involving several parts of the municipality's important technical systems and equipment.
The role involves many contact areas with both citizens, businesses, and internal employees. As a Drift Engineer, you report directly to the Property Manager within the Property Department.
Responsibilities
In your role as a Drift Engineer, you are responsible for the technical operation of our systems and are driving the development of the municipality's technical equipment. This is a varied and challenging job involving several parts of the municipality's important technical systems. You have a leading and coordinating role from start to finish in the technical operation of our systems, as well as in follow-up, evaluation, and development of processes.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with education and/or experience in property technical installations. To work independently, a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience is required.
As a person, you are secure, relationship-building, and have good communication skills both in meetings with others and in writing. Your working style is structured and independent, and you have analytical skills where you see both the parts and the whole. You appreciate dynamism in work and the opportunity for many contact points at different levels. You keep up to date with changes within the area of operations and want to develop processes with the support of digitalization. Furthermore, you have the ability to be objective and rational, and can receive criticism.
Experience of a politically governed organization and knowledge of the municipal operations' regulatory system, authority exercise, organizational structure, and conditions are meritorious but not a requirement.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Education and good knowledge of plumbing (VS), ventilation. Electrical knowledge and potential electrical certifications are meritorious.
- Knowledge and understanding of computers and programs as well as principles for data security to solve problems within property technical systems such as IT communication, interfaces, and integration. This includes the ability to interpret and use technical descriptions and manuals relevant to the professional role, in both Swedish and English.
- Knowledge of electrical system structure, hydraulic flows, pressure, water/air flows, and understands the conditions and interconnection between these.
- In-depth knowledge of technical systems in buildings for performing troubleshooting and repairs of technical systems.
- Good knowledge of building internal and external construction, constituent materials, and understanding of buildings' exposure to moisture and moisture-related problems.
- Knowledge of how execution of service and repair work in different types of buildings and systems is done in a correct and safe manner.
- Knowledge of maintenance routines, regulations, provisions, and inspection plans for property technical equipment.
- Knowledge to interpret and use drawings, diagrams, instructions, standards and regulations, system functions, technical terms, designations, symbols, and units in the field of heating and ventilation and electricity.
Meritorious with specialized knowledge in some of the following systems:
- Schneider EBO
- Swegon/Fläkt Woods equipment
- Lindinvent
- Door automation systems
