Your Role
As a Team Leader in the Electrical Department at the Kankberg Mine, you will have a central role where you lead and distribute work in a team of seven electricians. You are responsible for daily operations and plan both short- and long-term based on production needs and budget. Together, you are specialists in electrification and technology, supporting production with your expertise.
You work closely with other team leaders and departments within operations and maintenance, playing a key role in creating structure, collaboration, and development in the business. Safety is always in focus, and you drive active improvement work regarding health, environment, and safety.
In this role, you plan and lead work based on maintenance and production plans, develop both processes and employees, and contribute broadly within your area of responsibility and as support to the business. The role also involves building good relationships with other work groups and contributing to efficient planning for the entire mine.
The position is located in Kankberg with day shifts (approx. 06–15), and some on-call duty may be included.
Your Team
You are responsible for a competent and engaged team of a total of 7 electricians, of whom 4 work shifts and 3 work day shifts.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and distribute daily work in the electrical team
- Plan work in the short and long term based on production and maintenance
- Develop working methods, processes, and employees
- Ensure active work within health, environment, and safety
- Collaborate with other departments within operations and maintenance
- Support the business and contribute to improvement work
Your Contribution
We are looking for you who are trained as an electrician at a minimum of upper secondary level and wish to develop within leadership. You have experience from the trade, are structured, communicative, and thrive in a role where you get to take responsibility and influence. You are engaged, clear in your leadership, and have an easy time building collaborations. If you are a certified electrician and/or have experience with ABB 800 XA, this is meritorious. A B-driver's license and good Swedish are required for the position.
