Boliden is a high-tech metals company with its own mines and smelters, working long-term to guarantee society's access to base and precious metals. For a century, our work has been part of the value chains that have shaped modern society. At Boliden, we know that the metals we mine and make available will play a crucial role in the future - what matters is how we produce them. Become part of us and drive change for future generations.
Your Role:
Are you a skilled mechanic looking for a varied job? Do you want to work in an industrial environment where your creativity is appreciated, and where you, together with colleagues, strive for continuous development?
We are looking for you who want to work as a mechanic at our concentrator plant in Boliden. Here you will have the chance to develop your problem-solving skills, come up with innovative ideas, and grow in your professional role. Data management will also be part of your daily tasks.
Your Team:
You will be part of a team of experienced colleagues responsible for maintaining production equipment, ensuring that operations run without interruption. Every morning we start by distributing the day's tasks, and you will notice that no day is like the other. The work is often performed in groups or where you and one or two colleagues carry out different assignments.
This may involve working on pumps, welding, or laying cables.
Your Responsibilities:
You will work in a complete workshop where the team can service and maintain equipment. Most of the work is performed out in the field. The focus is largely on preventive maintenance to avoid repairs as much as possible. You will work with a program called Maximo, a maintenance system that will become part of your responsibilities.
