Do you want to work in a production environment where precision, quality, and teamwork make a real difference? We are now recruiting production assistants for a role with an international company in Umeå that develops and manufactures products used in research and pharmaceutical development.

About the role

In this position, you will become part of a production team working with the assembly, testing, control, and packaging of products, spare parts, and accessories. Production takes place according to clear instructions, routines, and quality requirements, where every step is crucial to ensuring the final product meets the required standards.

You will work closely with colleagues in production, engineering, quality, and planning. The team consists of production managers, technicians, quality engineers, production planners, group coordinators, and operators.

The assignment starts on August 17, 2026, and runs until December 30, 2026. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00. The location is in Umeå.

Main responsibilities

In this role, you will primarily:

  • Assemble, control, test, and package products
  • Administer order documentation according to routines and instructions
  • Refill materials and manage floor stock
  • Follow current quality requirements, instructions, regulations, and policies
  • Report deviations and, if necessary, contribute to investigating them
  • Suggest and implement improvements in working methods and working environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments
  • Rotate between different departments as needed

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a three-year upper secondary education in technology or at least one year of experience from the manufacturing industry. You have previous experience working in production or an industrial environment and are accustomed to following instructions, working meticulously, and contributing to a safe and structured work environment.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills. A forklift license is an advantage.

As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and able to focus on the task at hand. You thrive in a team where people collaborate, help each other, and contribute to a good atmosphere. You are also solution-oriented and enjoy contributing ideas that can improve working methods, quality, and flows in production.
