Our employees are the heart of what we do – and crucial for ensuring our customers feel safe, seen – and for their workplaces to flourish.
ISS Facility Services has a long-term collaboration within Integrated Facility Service with a customer in the automotive industry who has several sites in Sweden. We are now looking for a Technical Operations Manager for the Umeå site. Your mission will be to achieve set goals and ensure world-class service. Are you a service-oriented, business-driven, and engaged leader who wants to develop people and operations? Do you also have a technical background? Then apply for this position with us!
We take care of our customers' properties, employees, and visitors. We are experts in property services and deliver service solutions to businesses and the public sector throughout Sweden. We ensure that properties and workplaces are as efficient and inspiring as possible. With our technical services, we create conditions for productivity while minimizing risks.
About the Role
In the role of Technical Operations Manager, you will lead your team in daily work and promote their development. You are responsible for the delivery of our technical operations and maintenance contract for the customer. With responsibility for results and personnel, you will lead small and large projects together with your employees. Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have extensive experience in leadership, economics, and occupational health and safety. You have a very good understanding of building technology, and we would appreciate it if you have experience with industrial properties and are familiar with production and processes.
You are a responsible and service-oriented person who strives for high customer satisfaction, with the aim of maintaining good and long-term relationships. You need to be comfortable making decisions and pointing out the direction forward. Since the work involves some administration, it helps if you see it as a natural part of the workday. You should be accustomed to the administrative tasks that come with a managerial role and have very good IT skills. You easily pick up new systems, information, and new technology, and you thrive in an industrial environment. You are very proficient in the Office suite and speak and write good Swedish and English.
You have good social skills and an attentive, down-to-earth, and humble demeanor. You have an eye for both details and the big picture. You are communicative and thrive in close collaboration with both customers and employees. You create a sense of belonging and security to promote employees' further development and well-being, and ultimately a stable and high-quality delivery. You are practical and have the ability to work proactively rather than reactively. Since you are innovative and creative, this promotes our development work to improve and optimize our internal processes and workflows.
We Offer
We take responsibility for giving you the very best conditions and the support you need to succeed in your role. You work closely with competent employees on site, but you are also part of a large customer team and have leadership colleagues at other sites in Sweden from whom you will benefit greatly. We value supporting, developing each other, and exchanging experiences. ISS's size and broad service offering contribute to good development opportunities both nationally and globally. Our focus is on taking care of and developing our employees, because we believe that "People make places." ISS offers among other things training and talent programs – all to ensure you are engaged and developed at work.
ISS values are quality, responsibility, honesty, and entrepreneurship. These values are fundamental to how we work. Therefore, it is important that you feel that you stand for a way of working and an attitude that is in line with these.
