"I thought you were pretend, but now I know you really exist." – a visiting child to Madicken at Astrid Lindgren's World
At Astrid Lindgren's World, visitors step straight into the world of fairy tales and immediately become part of it. Here, children and their families can meet, talk, and play with characters from Astrid Lindgren's books. During the high season, our visitors can see stories from the well-known books performed in over 30 different shows every day. The park receives half a million visitors each year, making us Sweden's largest outdoor theater and a fairy-tale world that creates memories for life. Our goal is to bring Astrid Lindgren's authorship to life and to work in her spirit based on the core value that all people have the same worth and are equally important. At our park, everyone plays a significant role in creating an authentic and genuine experience of Astrid Lindgren's World.
