Rödsleskolan has 800 students in grades F-9 and in the Adapted Primary School. We educate curious and knowledgeable students and encourage them to constantly learn new things! We work with a clear focus and with great respect for each other's similarities and differences. Our school includes students with diverse needs for support and guidance throughout their school years. Everyone is equally important for our shared work environment and contributes in their own way to preserving and further developing the good climate that prevails at the school.

The librarian at Rödsleskolan, as part of the overall assignment, also has responsibility for the outer schools Bockara and Kristdalaskolan, approximately one day per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your mission is to lay the foundation for a Good Life for the students you meet!

As a librarian with us, you will work practically in the daily library operations and develop new ways to reach more readers. You lead and drive reading-promoting activities and writing-promoting initiatives by having daily contact with students. You contribute to strengthening the library as a resource for digital accessibility, source criticism, source trust, and AI. You plan, participate in, and arrange events, and make the library visible through social media and other channels.

The position involves working as a librarian at multiple schools in the municipality. A B-class driver's license is required.

• have a degree in Library and Information Science or another education we assess as equivalent.

You can express yourself well in speech and writing and are a proficient IT user with experience using various digital tools.
