Who are we looking for?

We are now looking for a kitchen assistant who wants to work in a team where a service-oriented attitude and teamwork are at the center. With curiosity and attention to detail, you will help both the hot and cold kitchens with preparation, cooking, and serving. The role includes self-control, daily kitchen routines, dishwashing, and occasionally working at the cash register.

About Restaurant Malmen, SSAB Luleå

Restaurant Malmen is located next to SSAB in Luleå and is a restaurant with exciting growth ahead. Currently, we serve approximately 250 guests daily and operate as a production kitchen delivering school meals to about 250 students.

Our offering consists of a varied lunch buffet with at least two traditional Swedish dishes, a vegetarian option, and a generous salad bar. We focus on quality, sustainability, and seasonal ingredients to provide our guests with a great dining experience every day.

You will become part of an engaged team of 6 people, a team that values diversity, collaboration, and having fun at work.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays without holidays, but weekend work may occur during special events and assignments.

Who are you?

• You are over 18 years old.
• You enjoy planning and structuring your work to ensure efficiency.
• Through your positivity, you take responsibility for maintaining a high service level throughout the day.
• Good service is important to you, where a smile and eye contact are second nature.
• You see your impact in satisfied guests, are positive, stress-resistant, and have an easy time collaborating and communicating.
• You can take initiative and are flexible in your professional role.
• You speak and write Swedish.
• Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen is a plus.
• A valid B-driver's license is required.
