About Building Norrland

We build and renovate both commercial and public buildings as well as residential properties throughout Norrland, from Sundsvall in the south to Luleå in the north. The department consists of approximately 200 dedicated employees, both office staff and tradespeople, who together drive projects forward with a focus on sustainable and long-term solutions.

About the Role

As a foreman with us, you work close to production in projects where structure, precision, and a professional approach are crucial. You lead, distribute, and plan the work within your area of responsibility in close collaboration with the site manager and other foremen. Together with dedicated tradespeople and specialists, you drive the work forward with a focus on quality, economics, and progress.

You participate in the development and follow-up of schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and conduct work preparation meetings together with the team. Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a calm and confident person who thrives in and has experience in the role of a foreman. You are technically knowledgeable and accustomed to solving problems when conditions change. For you, it is natural to work close to production and take responsibility in everyday life, even when it requires patience and a methodical approach.

You have a flexible and adaptable attitude, work structured within given frameworks, and respect routines and protocols. Precision, judgment, and professionalism are a natural part of how you approach your assignment. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities such as teamwork, engagement, and integrity. You need good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

Additional Information

The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probation period. The role requires regular physical presence out in our projects, and we are therefore looking for you who live – or have the opportunity to settle – in Norrbotten County. Our initial projects are within commuting distance from Luleå, but it is also possible to commute smoothly from northern Västerbotten, for example from Skellefteå. A Category B driver's license is a requirement as our projects are located where the customers are. This position will undergo background checks in accordance with NCC's safety culture. The department works with security-classified projects.
