Your Role

Here, you will step right into the heart of our technology-driven operations – the production technology department at Saab Dynamics in the Björkborn industrial area in Karlskoga. Here, a team of skilled employees works across five sections, handling everything from test and assembly preparation to tool construction and facility technology.

We are in an expansion phase where we are both increasing capacity and investing long-term in innovation, including through digitalization and automation. This is a unique opportunity for you who want to contribute to the development of advanced systems and see your ideas become a real-world reality.

The test development team currently consists of technicians and engineers, and we are now looking for experienced colleagues who want to help drive the development of future test methods and systems.

As an Electronic Engineer with us, you will:

• Specify and define test methods
• Develop and create test equipment in development projects
• Support ongoing production during troubleshooting
• Work with continuous improvements
• Participate in support visits to subcontractors as needed

Here you will have a key role where your work truly makes a difference. You will shape the test strategy for our products and ensure that our solutions work flawlessly – from the first prototype to serial production.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who thrive in a collaborative role where problem-solving, structure, and interest in technology are central. You are meticulous, self-motivated, and unpretentious – a team player with your own drive and contagious curiosity.

We are looking for you who have a university degree or a Master of Science in Engineering in electronics and good knowledge of programming. The position suits both you who have recently graduated and you with several years of experience working with both hardware and software in complex systems. You have a strong interest in technology and development and the ability to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities and consider it crucial that you fit into the team's culture – where collaboration, responsibility, and openness are in focus.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience with National Instruments environments such as TestStand or LabWindows/CVI
• Good knowledge of C programming
• Previous experience in developing test equipment for production
• Experience in working with specification requirements

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
