We are looking for you who are a trained teacher in Mathematics and Natural Sciences (Ma/NO) for grades 7–9.

In the role of a teacher, you are expected to work based on a shared understanding of the organization's mission, where the students' best interests are at the center. Your effort in the daily meeting and dialogue with students, guardians, and colleagues is crucial to achieving the goal of an equitable education and high-quality teaching. You are expected to take overall responsibility for the results achieved, both academically and socially, and contribute to a safe and inclusive teaching environment. With a positive and solution-oriented approach, you work from a holistic view of the student's development and learning. The assignment is about ensuring that every student gets the best possible education based on our steering documents.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in Ma/NO with the eligibility to teach in grades 7–9 of the compulsory school.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Particular emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Salary and Relocation Bonus in Arjeplog Municipality

Arjeplog Municipality has decided on a salary bonus for the individual who is employed as a substitute in a shortage occupation and possesses the right competence for the profession. Teachers are currently a shortage occupation. The bonus is paid out for those who receive a temporary position of at least 6 months. The temporary position bonus is calculated based on the same principles as the salary bonus and is paid out in 6-month intervals. If the temporary position turns into a permanent employment, the bonus form changes to a salary bonus. The maximum amount of the temporary position bonus should not exceed the maximum amount paid out with the salary bonus.

To receive this bonus, you must be registered as a resident in Arjeplog Municipality during the period of employment. The salary bonus is paid out when the employment exceeds 6 months (7,500 SEK), 12 months (7,500 SEK), and 18 months (11,250 SEK). The amounts above correspond to full-time employment.

There is also an opportunity to apply for a relocation bonus. Those who have adequate education, get a job in a shortage occupation, and register in Arjeplog can receive a bonus of up to 30,000 SEK after verified receipts.

The bonuses are proportional to the degree of employment.
