We are looking for several Systems Engineers for new and challenging projects within various product areas at Missile Systems. This offers the opportunity to find a role that suits your experience while developing within new technical areas and systems.

Your Role

As a Systems Engineer at Saab Dynamics Missile Systems, you help shape the technical solutions. You work very closely with other departments within development, testing, and other specialist areas, playing a central role in translating requirements into functioning systems. You work with a holistic perspective and contribute to ensuring that technical solutions meet high demands for functionality, performance, and quality.

Depending on your background and interests, you may work on different projects and product areas. What they have in common is that you become an important part of the development work and collaborate closely with specialists in mechanics, electronics, software, testing, and production.

The tasks include, among other things, analysis of customer and system requirements, requirements management, system responsibility, functional and performance analysis, as well as verification and documentation of system solutions.

You work in an environment where the development pace is high and where several technical fields meet. Our working methods are characterized by collaboration, short decision-making paths, and a continuous focus on development. We see AI-based tools as a natural part of future engineering work and system development.

The role involves many contact points and gives you the opportunity to influence technical decisions throughout the entire development process - from early concepts and requirement setting to the final system solution.

Your Profile

We believe you have a Master of Science degree in, for example, technical physics, electronics, mechanical engineering, or a corresponding technical field.

To thrive in the role, you have a strong interest in technology and are driven by understanding complex systems and relationships. You enjoy analyzing problems, translating requirements into technical solutions, and collaborating with others to achieve common goals.

You have experience in product development, systems work, or technical development work, preferably within mechanics, electronics, or software. Experience in requirements management, technical documentation, or verification is advantageous.

As a person, you are curious, analytical, and communicative. You thrive in a dynamic environment where conditions change and where you have the opportunity to take responsibility, influence, and develop together with others.

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
