Your Future Challenge

BAE Systems is currently in an intensive period with many parallel projects generating exciting and developmental challenges for us. Therefore, we wish to further strengthen our electronics development department with an additional team leader. Depending on your background, we have the opportunity to adapt the role to suit your wishes for the next step in your career development.

As a Team Leader in Electronics, you will work across a broad technical area within the Vetroics Design section and the Hardware unit. This includes the groups for electronics, electrical systems, electromechanics, and firmware. Your task here will be to lead and support a team of colleagues in an innovative and professional manner.

You will be responsible for the planning, management, execution, and follow-up of work covering the entire product cycle, including but not limited to:

• Circuit board development from prototype to field deployment
• Development of future embedded systems in vehicle environments
• Hardware-level programming in VHDL with a focus on FPGA
• System design including safety-critical (ISO26262) functions
• Analog and digital design
• Testing and commissioning

Our development tools include Altium Designer, Libero SoC, Simulink, and others.

About You

We prefer that you, the applicant, hold a university degree or Master of Science in Engineering in electronics, software, automation, or equivalent. You have good collaboration and communication skills. You have a positive outlook and enjoy creative problem-solving. Experience in leadership roles is an advantage.

Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required.
