The Specialist Psychiatric Nursing Team (SPOT) in Sollefteå/Kramfors has 17 employees and is part of the Regional Healthcare Area Psychiatry- habilitation. SPOT is in an exciting phase of development and strives to develop our working methods to improve the quality of care for our citizens. We are looking for you who thrive with varied and developing tasks and who have a genuine interest in working with psychiatric patients.

We are now looking for a psychiatric nurse who wants to become part of our lovely team in Sollefteå! The position is a permanent, full-time employment with access as agreed.

Responsibilities

In the role of nurse, you meet patients who are in need of acute and intensive support. You work independently and are responsible for providing good and quality treatment and psychiatric nursing. We offer support in the form of home visits, clinic visits among other things.

In the work, you participate in rounds and various meetings with care colleagues. Collaboration takes place internally within the own team, with LARO in Sundsvall and the outpatient clinic in Sollefteå and Kramfors. Externally, collaboration takes place primarily with social services, but also with other authorities such as the employment agency, the social insurance office and others.

As a nurse at the clinic, you will carry out:

• Usual tasks such as medication management, sampling
• Support and motivational interviews
• Medication adjustments
• Checks, assessments, ratings
• Responsibility for patients and follow-up for patients during medication initiation as well as own care documentation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed psychiatric nurse
• Have some form of advanced education in counseling such as MI, CBT, DBT, AP
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Have a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you

• Have further education in psychiatry
• Have previous experience of working in specialist psychiatry
• Have experience of working with people with mental illness, addiction and co-morbidity
