Your Role

We are now looking for an Operations Technician whose main responsibility lies within ABB control systems. As an Operations Technician, you work closely with both operations and maintenance directed towards crushing & sizing and the concentrator plant, with a focus on coordination and development in the field. The role is independent and varied, where you drive improvement work, lead initiatives, and ensure that the work follows our routines, processes, and high safety requirements.

Collaboration is a central part of the assignment – you have many contact points and contribute to creating clarity, structure, and progress in the operations.

Your Team

You are part of a small team with broad assignments and have many contact points, both internally and externally. The work is scheduled during daytime hours.

We are also looking for another colleague for Operations Technician within gates, cranes, and elevators as well as grates and railings – see separate advertisement.

Your Responsibilities

In the role, you will among other things:

• Work with reporting systems for operational stoppages
• Drive improvements in the ABB system for operators
• Lead and structure work meetings with a focus on operational issues
• Drive smaller projects related to operations
• Create documentation, action plans, and follow-ups
• Participate in projects related to the purchase and development of equipment
• Ensure that ergonomics, working environment, and safety are considered
• Be present in operations and have ongoing dialogue with different functions

Your Contribution

We are looking for you who work in a structured and independent manner and have a good ability to drive and follow up on improvement work. You are solution-oriented and thrive in a role with many contact points, where collaboration and communication are central parts. Furthermore, you have the ability to prioritize and work methodically even in longer processes.

You contribute to a professional and trusting collaborative climate and work for a safe, inclusive, and well-functioning working environment.

Requirements:

• High school education
• Experience and good understanding of ABB control systems
• Good administrative skills and familiarity with Office programs
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, in speech and writing
• Manual B driver's license

It is meritorious if you have experience in purchasing machinery/equipment and a maintenance system, for example, Maximo.
