Responsibilities

In your role as Team Leader for Streets and Parks, you will lead five street and park workers. Your working time will be divided between 50% administrative tasks and 50% operational work in the field alongside your colleagues.

Administrative Tasks

• Assist the Head of Streets and Water/Wastewater
• Communicate with citizens and contractors
• Plan and prioritize daily operations
• Approve invoices
• Manage and follow up on excavation permits and traffic arrangement plans
• Plan forest clearing work in forests near urban areas
• Participate in paving planning
• Drive improvement projects in collaboration with management
• Plan winter readiness

Practical Tasks

• Green area maintenance
• Maintenance of roads, pedestrian paths, and cycle tracks
• Forest and clearing work in forests near urban areas
• Develop and maintain playgrounds
• Develop and maintain the unit's machinery fleet together with colleagues
• Snow plowing and anti-icing
• Participate in winter readiness

Qualifications

Requirements

• Category B driver's license
• Good experience with machinery
• Good computer skills (primarily Office)

Merits

• Professional certification or equivalent experience in green area maintenance
• Professional certification or equivalent experience in civil engineering/construction
• Chainsaw and brush cutter certification
• Training for working on roads
• Other relevant training
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations

Employment Terms

Type of Employment: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.
Start Date: According to agreement.
