About the role

As a Production Engineer/Customer Manager, you are the link between customer, technology, and production. You are responsible for turning customer needs into a functional, profitable, and quality-assured manufacturing process, from inquiry and order to final delivery.

This is not a traditional sales role. It is a technical coordinating role where you work closely with customers, designers, production teams, department managers, and welding coordinators.

This role suits you if you enjoy technology, problem-solving, and structure. You might be a university-level engineer, have other technical education, or have built your knowledge through experience in the industry.

Your responsibilities will include

• Serving as the customer's main contact from order to delivery.
• Reviewing drawings, requirements, and technical documentation.
• Pricing orders and creating manufacturing orders in Monitor.
• Planning and coordinating production together with our internal teams.
• Monitoring delivery times, quality, and deviations.
• Having dialogue with customers regarding technical questions, changes, and improvements.
• Contributing to smarter working methods, routines, and templates.

Experience with reading drawings, production, stainless steel, welding, sheet metal, machining, or the business system Monitor is advantageous, but you don't need to know everything from the start.
