Description

Do you want to make a difference in the daily lives of young people? The Youth House (Ungdomens Hus) in Säffle Municipality is looking for substitute youth coaches who want to help create a safe, inclusive, and meaningful meeting place for young people. Here, you will work closely with young people, strengthen their participation in society, and contribute to a activity that promotes community, creativity, and hope for the future.

We are looking for you who want to work in a developmental role within a dynamic operation. We prefer that you have experience in cultural and aesthetic activities, as well as a local network within the cultural sector or voluntary organizations. Experience working with young people in leisure centers, youth houses, or associations is a plus.

In this role, you need to have good communication skills, the ability to handle conflicts constructively, and enjoy working in an environment that is constantly changing. You must be able to work independently while also functioning well in a team.

Responsibilities

You will work in open activities, interest-based activities, and outreach work. The approach is coaching and supportive. The position includes weekend and evening shifts, as well as shorter and longer camps.

Qualifications

• Leisure leader education or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Experience working with young people from a supportive perspective.
• Experience working in a politically governed organization or municipality.

We place great importance on your personal competence as a complement to our current team. Good digital competence is required to handle computers and social media.
