We are looking for you who are passionate about LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations and have a strong commitment to working with people with disabilities.

Are you passionate about methodological work and pedagogical tools where you can support people with disabilities to gain increased independence, participation, influence, and self-determination in their life situation? Then this might be the position for you.

Responsibilities

As a support pedagogue within daily activities, you will guide and support users in their daily lives. You will work from a pedagogical and structured approach with a low-affective (calm and non-reactive) attitude. The goal is to develop and/or maintain the user's abilities based on individual needs.

The work includes:

  • planning, implementing, and following up on individually adapted activities
  • working structurally with pedagogical methods, such as low-affective attitude and clarifying pedagogy
  • being responsible for creating, following up on, and developing implementation plans, as well as documenting according to current guidelines
  • contributing to the quality and development work of the operations

Qualifications

  • post-secondary education as a support pedagogue or other education that the employer deems equivalent

It is meritorious if you have:

  • education or experience in pedagogical approaches directed towards adults with autism spectrum disorder
  • knowledge within psychiatry
  • advanced knowledge of low-affective attitude and/or clarifying pedagogy

Requirements:

  • experience working within LSS and knowledge of the target group
  • experience with documentation
  • knowledge of and/or experience working with adults with autism spectrum disorder

Personal Qualities

Furthermore, you are:

  • collaborative
  • structured and flexible
  • self-initiating and proactive

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills. You have good physical fitness as outdoor activities are part of the work.
