RESPONSIBILITIES
Torsby Municipality is looking for a social secretary with a focus on children and families. The social secretary will work with public authority duties, where the main tasks are to process child welfare cases for ages 0–20 according to SOL (Social Services Act) and LVU (Law on Care of Young Persons), as well as other relevant legislation.
The work group currently consists of 8 social secretaries, one social secretary with coordination responsibilities, and an IFO (Individual and Family Care) manager. The work group is divided into an Investigation Group, which includes the intake function for children and young people, and an Enforcement Group. Currently, we are primarily looking for a social secretary who works with investigations regarding children and young people, as well as handling incoming reports of concern and applications from children and young people.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a degree in social work and preferably prior experience in public authority duties within the field of children and young people. You are structured and flexible in your work and can take the lead in collaboration with other authorities. You have the ability to collaborate with others in a team, are humble, can make decisions, and have a humanistic view of humanity, meaning you believe in the equal value of all people and in people's ability to develop their own resources.
You should have good knowledge of current legislation and be able to independently plan and organize your work effectively and work flexibly under your own responsibility. You must be able to express yourself clearly and simply in speech and writing. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
A driver's license is required as the job involves travel during work hours.
It is considered an advantage if you have knowledge of investigation methods and assessment instruments such as BBIC, Signs of Safety, and experience working in the Lifecare system.
Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: As soon as possible or according to agreement.
Working hours: Daytime. On-call duties are included according to schedule.
