Personal Assistant for a Woman in Her 30s

We are currently looking for an engaged and responsible personal assistant for a woman in her 30s. The role involves providing support in daily life and creating conditions for a safe, meaningful, and independent existence based on the user's individual needs and wishes.

As a personal assistant, you provide support in both daily activities and social contexts. An important part of the assignment is to work according to clear routines and structures that contribute to predictability and security. You need to be calm, sensitive, and able to adapt your support to the situation and the user's condition on any given day.

In the work, picture support and visual aids are used as natural tools for communication, planning, and carrying out activities. Therefore, it is important that you are comfortable working pedagogically and following the methods and strategies established for the user.

Responsibilities

Working with us means supporting our clients in structuring their daily lives, for example, through action lists and individual schedules. You do this together, and you have cognitive aids such as pictures to help you.

Your workday includes both everyday tasks and more festive activities, such as accompanying our clients to their workplace, traveling, exercising, visiting the hairdresser, dancing, going to the cinema, or dining at restaurants.

Other duties include assisting with household chores, support with medication and technical medical equipment, and personal hygiene.

Qualifications

A degree from the Care and Nursing Program, Child and Youth Program, Treatment Assistant, Personal Assistant, Pedagogical Approach, or other education deemed equivalent.

The applicant should have experience working in the field of autism. You must be at least 18 years old, hold a manual Category B driver's license, and be able to work at all times of the day.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) will be required prior to employment.
