Welcome to SSC – Swedish Space Corporation, the perfect workplace for you who are passionate about technology in general and space in particular.

Do you want to be part of developing a workplace where people, technology and space meet? Here you have the opportunity to contribute to something that really makes a difference – using space to create value on Earth.
We are now looking for a technician who shares our values – Customer Passion, Care, Collaboration, Curiosity and Courage, and wants to play an important role in our continued development within space technology and launches.
Your role
As a technician at Esrange, you will become an important part of the team that makes rocket launches possible, a job that requires both precision, responsibility and curiosity.
The work is broad and varied. Your work will primarily take place at Launch Complex 3 (LC3) and will focus on maintenance and development at LC3, and later also operational work in connection with satellite launches.
You will among other things:

- Support the development of our systems and working methods.
- Participate in operations during satellite launches.
- Contribute to safe and efficient operation in an environment where technology, collaboration and problem-solving go hand in hand.
The work takes place both indoors and outdoors, sometimes at high altitudes or under varying weather conditions. During satellite launches and other campaigns, working hours may vary, which requires a flexible attitude, but also provides a unique workday where no day is like the other.
Who you are
We believe that you are a practical person who enjoys solving problems and seeing concrete results from your work. You like to work in a team but can also take responsibility and drive forward when needed. You have a technical background, preferably in vehicles, mechanics or electrical/electronics, but most importantly, your curiosity and willingness to learn.
You are confident in using tools, reading drawings and understanding technical systems. You like order and are serious about safety.
To succeed in the role you need:
- Category B driver's license (C or CE is an advantage).
- Knowledge of Swedish and English.
- A genuine interest in technology and practical work.
Advantageous:
- Vehicle education or experience with heavier vehicles.
- Scissor lift or forklift license.
- Experience working at heights.
Here you get a workplace where colleagues help each other, where you get to take responsibility and grow as tasks develop.
We offer you
- One of the world's most exciting and fastest growing industries within the space sector.
- An exciting and dynamic workplace with employees and customers around the world.
- Room to develop in line with the company's growth and future goals.
- 30 days of vacation plus traditional public holidays – we also offer extra days off.
- Wellness allowance (5,000 SEK/year).
- Attractive occupational pension (ITP) and the opportunity to exchange salary for pension.
- An international workplace characterized by an open atmosphere and a challenging work climate in constant development.
