About the Position
Do you want to work with permit issues in an engaged and secure team?
We are now looking for a Permit Specialist who will contribute to driving and coordinating permit processes in infrastructure projects. You are given an interesting opportunity to work in a role with independent responsibility and the possibility to develop within both expertise and project work.
As a Permit Specialist, you work with varied and challenging tasks, close to the project organization, and have overall responsibility for permit and concession issues in investment projects. You have strong support from your permit colleagues, but you independently drive the permit process in the projects, functioning as a specialist support to project managers and colleagues. The role combines operational responsibility in projects with a clear focus on quality, coordination, and compliance with current legislation and internal processes.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Independently drive and coordinate concession and permit processes for existing and new power lines.
- Work as a permit specialist in project teams and contribute to the progress of projects.
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate consultations together with project teams, consultants, authorities, and the public.
- Participate in procurement and lead consultants, as well as review and quality assure permit documentation and concession applications.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, authority requirements, and internal processes.
- Contribute expertise and advice, and support colleagues in other departments.
- Represent the company towards authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders in permit matters.
For this position, you will also be involved in the ongoing development of the business.
Requirements
We are looking for you who have a few years of work experience within permit matters.
Furthermore, we are looking for you who have:
- Experience working with permit and concession processes, as well as good knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Meritorious experience from infrastructure and/or energy projects.
- Experience in dialogue and collaboration with authorities.
- Relevant academic education, for example, in environmental science, urban planning, or law.
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as well as good English.
- Class B driver's license.
As a person, we are looking for you who are flexible and thrive in complex situations as well as simpler permit applications. You have a good ability to plan, prioritize, and work structured, even when driving several parallel assignments simultaneously. The role involves collaboration with many internal and external parties, meaning you are confident in stakeholder management and have an easy time creating trusting collaborations.
