Fortifikationsverket is looking for a Maintenance Technician for Grubbnäsudden in Kalix Municipality. Are you looking for a varied job with an employer that has a unique property portfolio? Where will you work and what will you do?

Your workplace will be in Grubbnäsudden, where you will work together with another maintenance technician. Fortifikationsverket's mission is to own and manage properties primarily used by the Swedish Armed Forces in their operations. The Operation District Boden Outer Norr consists of 5 property technicians, 12 maintenance technicians, and 1 operations manager. The property portfolio is varied, ranging from workshops, restaurants, water production facilities, sewage treatment plants, backup power systems, etc., to simpler deployable barracks and training facilities for the Swedish Armed Forces.

The role involves supervision and maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and repair of building technical systems and various types of outdoor environments. It also involves leading smaller projects and being an active participant in larger design projects and orders with contractors. The work involves regular contact with both customers and contractors. Work distribution occurs across parts of the district, and travel is involved. On-call duties may be included in the position.

What do you offer us?

We are looking for someone who has education at the upper secondary level, preferably with a technical focus. You have experience working with the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical systems and/or properties. You have good administrative skills, are computer literate as a user of support systems, and have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. A Class B driver's license is a requirement.

It is meritorious if you have education in electrical work, primarily, but also ventilation, plumbing, HVAC, control and supervision, cooling, or automation. We would appreciate if you have work experience in service and fault reporting, as well as troubleshooting and experience in preventive work involving supervision, maintenance, and upkeep. If you have experience working with backup power and/or hold a boiler operator certificate, it is to your advantage.
