We are now looking for you in the Jönköping area who has experience with infrastructure projects focusing on roads and groundworks. Other suitable places of residence could be Växjö, Värnamo, Gislaved, or nearby locations.

We are currently recruiting, on behalf of our client, a Site Manager who, through experience, business acumen, and an inclusive leadership style, can create engagement and lead projects to success. The client has a broad project spectrum and executes projects including roads, railways, water and sewerage, energy, power supply, industry, and community infrastructure.

Responsibilities
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for driving projects toward jointly set goals within areas such as HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), economics (profitability), quality, time, and resource planning. You will set project goals together with the Construction Manager and Project Manager. The Site Manager is responsible for leading the project and ensuring that progress is made safely with high well-being and good profitability. The Site Manager works together with other roles such as foremen, project engineers, and skilled workers to drive the project forward.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with experience from infrastructure projects with clients such as the Swedish Transport Administration. Experience from larger projects, collaborative projects, and mobility are meritorious. You are a university or civil engineer in construction and infrastructure or have other equivalent education that demonstrates administrative and analytical ability. Practical experience in driving projects is very valuable to us and can be equated with formal education.
To succeed in the role of Site Manager, it is important to master the following:
- Quantity surveying – together with the measurer
- Scheduling and progress tracking
- Conducting project and morning meetings
- Diary management
- Forecasting work
- AMA, MER, AB04, ABT06 standards
- You are skilled at expressing yourself in both speech and writing.
Personal Attributes
You are a confident and coaching leader with the ability to create a positive work environment for the project team through involvement. You are good at communicating so that everyone in the project is informed and has the opportunity to influence their work situation. As a Site Manager, you have an excellent ability to organize projects and ensure they proceed according to schedule and budget. You like to solve problems together with your team, are humble, and do not hesitate to ask for help when needed. Business acumen and a drive to create good profitability are important for the role.
