Do you want to lead technical projects from concept to full implementation in an advanced manufacturing environment? We are now looking for an experienced Process Project Engineer to drive industrialization, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Our core product at Sekurit Eslöv is laminated sidelites for vehicles, and our vision is to "Make every drive a great experience". We have about 250 employees working at our plant in Eslöv.

About the role

As a Process Project Engineer, you will lead projects and drive process optimization initiatives in line with defined timelines and budgets, contributing to the industrialization of new processes and products while improving efficiency, capacity, quality, and cost performance. You will manage large-scale projects throughout the entire lifecycle—from design to physical implementation—in close collaboration with external suppliers.

The position requires a flexible and proactive mindset, with a willingness to learn new areas and support other departments. You will also be responsible for providing regular updates and reporting on planned, ongoing, and completed projects to your manager and relevant stakeholders.

We are looking for a structured and driven engineer with strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset.

More about the role

  • Develop and maintain process standards, parameters, and work instructions, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to safety and quality throughout all project phases.
  • Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication with stakeholders in line with company policies.
  • Act as a key interface between R&D and production during industrialization, including supplier coordination and FAT/SAT activities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree combined with solid relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience from manufacturing or production environments.
  • At least 3 years of experience independently managing projects. Strong knowledge of WCM methodologies, process improvement, and loss analysis.
  • Experience with cost calculations, budgeting, and investment analysis.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

  • Experience from glass, automotive glass, or similar industries.
  • Experience in product industrialization.
  • Lean and Six Sigma knowledge.
  • CAD and technical drawing interpretation.
  • Experience with supplier management and technical validation processes.
