About the role

GVM Gräsvårdsmaskiner AB is one of Sweden's leading players in professional lawn care and ground maintenance. We sell, rent, and service machinery for golf courses, municipalities, cemeteries, and sports facilities throughout Sweden.

We are now looking for an engaged and technically skilled Service Technician to join our facility in Linköping (Idögatan 26). This role is central to our service operations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on advanced lawn care machinery from brands such as Ransomes, Jacobsen, Grillo, and Cushman, including autonomous robotic mowers.

Your Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repair, and service of professional lawn care machinery – mowers, tractors, and autonomous robotic mowers.
• Preventive maintenance and periodic servicing according to manufacturer schedules.
• Field service at customer sites (golf courses, municipalities, sports facilities, etc.).
• Diagnosis using digital tools and manufacturer-specific software.
• Handling spare parts orders and internal stock status via Monitor G5.
• Commissioning of new machinery and customer training.
• Continuous contact with customers and internal service managers regarding case status.

We are looking for you who

• Have upper secondary education in vehicles, machinery, or electricity – or equivalent experience.
• Have experience in servicing and repairing engine-driven machinery (lawn care, agriculture, vehicles, or similar).
• Are comfortable with electronics and hydraulics – you understand the system as a whole.
• Can communicate fluently in Swedish and have basic English skills (some manufacturer documentation is in English).
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B), with Category BE being an advantage.
• Are structured, service-oriented, and thrive when solving problems independently.
