We are now looking for a nurse for the Psychiatric Specialist Clinic Globen 1 and Young Adults.
About the clinics at Globen
The Psychiatric Specialist Clinic Globen 1 receives patients for psychiatric assessment, investigation, and treatment of depressive disorders and bipolar syndrome. The clinic has been given a broader mandate and shares premises with the Psychiatric Specialist Clinic Young Adults, under joint management, at Globen.
The Psychiatric Specialist Clinic Young Adults is a clinic that works across diagnoses with the investigation and treatment of young adults between the ages of 18 and 23. We work based on regional care programs with a broad perspective. Collaboration with family, relatives, as well as care partners, social services, job centers for young adults, and city districts is of great importance. The clinic is HBTQI-certified.
We are organized into several multiprofessional treatment teams consisting of doctors, psychologists, nurses, administrators, counselors, and rehab coordinators. Our clinics offer a broad and varied range of care with different treatment methods.
Your work as a nurse
Your work as a nurse involves medication follow-ups, psychiatric assessment, and medical telephone advice, as well as coordinating prescription dispensing. The work is carried out individually or in teams where you contribute your specific competence.
As a nurse with us, you now have a unique opportunity to help shape your tasks in consultation with the unit manager and other employees. Student supervision is included in the duties.
Our expectations of you
You are a registered nurse with an interest in developing psychiatric care. We would appreciate it if you had experience working in psychiatric outpatient care.
- You have good collaboration skills and are receptive and flexible.
- You thrive working independently in dialogue with other staff and wish to contribute your knowledge and experience to provide patients with the best possible care and treatment.
- You are curious and have the ability to meet people in vastly different states of mind.
- You are accustomed to working in goal-oriented operations and have a positive attitude towards both patients and colleagues.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, Monday–Friday 40 hours/week. Start date by agreement.

For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council Healthcare Services (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement applies to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
