Psykosvård Stockholm is a newly established unit within the Stockholm County Council healthcare area. Here, we consolidate care for patients over 18 years of age with psychotic illness into one organizational unit. We offer assessment, investigation, and treatment in accordance with national guidelines and regional care programs. Within Psykosvård Stockholm, we conduct development work, education, and research regarding psychotic illness. We work in multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible care and treatment around the patient.

Description

We are looking for a registered nurse, preferably a specialist nurse, for the newly established Referral Portal within Psykosvård Stockholm (PVS). The primary task is to distribute incoming referrals to the various outpatient and inpatient clinics. As a referral-assessing nurse, you will collaborate with a responsible specialist physician regarding how referrals should be interpreted, whether they should be accepted, which outpatient care they should be sent to, or if the referral should be declined.

The goal is for the referral portal to develop into its own unit, with telephone hours where other care directions can reach staff to discuss how to proceed with certain care matters or how to write referrals. It should also become possible for patients to submit their own reports. You will need to create the basis for routines and develop a sustainable working method that is clear and easy for others to use to contact the referral portal.

The workplace is located at the clinic in Alviks Strand, and working hours are Monday to Friday, times to be agreed upon with the manager. Possibility for remote work exists.

Responsibilities

We are looking for you who:

  • have a sharp clinical eye and interest in triage,
  • want to be involved in building up and developing the Referral Portal within Psykosvård Stockholm,
  • can review and assess incoming referrals, including self-reports,
  • have the ability to distribute and forward referrals to the correct clinic,
  • want to collaborate closely with psychiatrists to secure the care chain,
  • want to contribute to building up telephone advice and the basis and implementation of the patient's opportunity for self-reporting.

Qualifications

You are a registered nurse and have previous experience within psychiatric care, preferably with specialist education in psychiatry, which is meritorious. We would like you to have experience with this patient group.

Conditions

Fixed-term employment 20 hours/week. Start date by agreement.

We warmly welcome your application!

The position will be filled on the condition that it does not need to be taken for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
