About the role

As a Station Support/Facility Technician, you will have a varied job where you are a vital part of the operations across the entire commuter rail network. Based at our depot in Älvsjö, you will work independently in a mobile daily routine, traveling between stations from Arlanda to Gnesta and from Bålsta to Nynäshamn by car.

Main responsibilities

• Ensure traffic information and signage are correct
• Troubleshoot and provide support regarding our payment systems
• Detect and rectivate graffiti, damage, and anomalies
• Conduct inspections and report defects
• Support operations with materials and internal logistics

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in service within a dynamic or operational environment
• Has education or experience in facilities/technical fields
• Thrives with freedom under responsibility and working independently
• Is solution-oriented and likes to get things done
• Has a valid B-driver's license

Since the role demands high standards in delivering service, assessing facility-related issues, and independently planning your workday effectively, you must be structured. You adapt easily to new tasks and possess strong problem-solving skills. Furthermore, you are service-oriented, comfortable working independently, yet able to collaborate effectively with others.

What is SJ Stockholmståg AB?

SJ Stockholmståg (SJP) is a subsidiary of SJ AB and has had overall responsibility for the commuter trains; traffic, maintenance, and service, since March 3, 2024. Commuter rail traffic is a vital artery for many residents in the Stockholm region.
