About the Role

Trolle & Trolla are two trolls who have lived at Kläppen for many years. The first stories about the trolls at Kläppen were told by Carl von Linné during his journey through Sweden in the early 1700s. At Kläppen, children and their families can meet, talk, and play with the trolls in their environment, where they can also watch theater, dance, and sing at afterski events.

It is a small ensemble, meaning you will get significant stage time, and great focus will be placed on you during rehearsals and the performance period.

The employment is a seasonal position.

• Rehearsal start: November 2, 2026
• Premiere: December 14, 2026
• Employment lasts until April 4, 2027
• Monthly salary in line with the Stage and Film collective agreement

Responsibilities

As an actor/musical artist at Kläppen, you will perform as Trolle and/or Trolla in scripted, directed scenes as well as improvisation with fellow performers and guests. You will also perform as Cousin Tralle, a character largely based on body language and physical theater.

The weekly program includes four musical theater performances, singing programs/afterski, and improvisation sessions. All performances are given several times per week.

As Trolle & Trolla, you have close contact with the audience, and the meeting with each visitor is the core of our operations. We place great importance on your ability to improvise, collaborate, and take responsibility for the visitors' experience at Kläppen Ski Resort. Qualifications

To apply for the actor/musical artist role, we look for education or experience in acting, musicals, or show business, along with a burning interest in entertaining and singing. Similar work experience is highly meritorious.

It is a plus if you also enjoy magic and fairy tales, as both the depth and joy of this are important to us. Since the audience consists largely of children, it is crucial that you enjoy interacting with children. We consider a love for winter and downhill skiing to be a given.
