The Opportunity
At Surge Arresters in Ludvika, we produce and sell surge protectors. New products are developed here, and markets exist both in Sweden and in other parts of the world. A surge protector protects against overvoltage and is an essential part of a reliable and energy-efficient power system. Surge Arresters has a high degree of automation with multiple robots, automation processes, electrical testing, process ovens, fixtures, etc., and we operate around the clock in several sections of production. We are currently in a growth phase and are looking for someone who wants to contribute to our exciting journey.
We are now seeking a driven production planner for Surge Arresters in Ludvika. You will be part of a competent, engaged, and close-knit team that values a work culture where we have fun at work while delivering results.
In the role of production planner, you will be responsible for planning a product in our production so that resources, materials, and capacity are available for us to deliver our product. As a production planner, you will collaborate with several different units.
The role is based on-site in Ludvika.
How You Will Make an Impact
- You will be responsible for planning and managing orders, as well as scheduling and optimizing production work in the SAP business system. You will prepare and update documentation.
- You will allocate work orders to machines and production lines.
- You will monitor and adjust planning as needed to manage changes and solve problems, such as quality and delivery challenges.
- In this role, you will actively participate in planning meetings and collaborate closely with production, purchasing, project management, and other internal functions to drive improvements and find cost-effective solutions.
Your Background
- You have previous experience in production planning or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- You have experience from the manufacturing industry.
- You speak and write fluently in Swedish and English.
- It is an advantage if you have an education in economics, supply chain, or another relevant field.
- You have good knowledge of business systems, and experience with SAP is a plus.
As a person, you have a strong analytical ability combined with creative problem-solving. You are willing to take initiative, curious, and engaged. You are a structured and communicative person. You enjoy taking responsibility and working both independently and in a team. You can also handle stress and maintain focus even when it gets challenging. You are flexible and adaptable, which allows you to manage changes and challenges with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
