The opportunity

Do you enjoy writing and turning complex technology into clear, structured documentation?

Energy is the foundation of a functioning society – and the energy systems of the future are built on advanced technologies such as HVDC. Clear and well-structured documentation is essential to ensure that these systems can be built, maintained and operated. We are now looking for a Technical Writer to join our HVDC team in Ludvika.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of communication & technology, creating clear and structured documentation for complex systems. You will collaborate closely with system engineers, experts, and project teams to collect, understand, and transform technical information into user-friendly content. Your work will play a key role in making our technology accessible and usable for internal teams, customers, and partners worldwide.

How you'll make an impact

  • Create, structure, and maintain technical documentation
  • Gather and understand technical information
  • Translate complex concepts into user-friendly content
  • Improve and standardize existing documentation
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and usability of content
  • Develop and refine documentation processes and workflows
  • Communicate clearly in writing in both Swedish and English
  • Work in a structured and process-oriented way
  • Apply strong technical understanding with a pedagogical approach
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ownership of work

Your background

  • 3–8 years of experience in technical communication
  • Experience with technical documentation
  • Background in electrical power, industry, or infrastructure
  • Experience documenting complex technical systems
  • Post-secondary education within a technical field
