Our client is a Swedish technical consultancy firm headquartered in Linköping, operating within several technical fields. By consolidating expertise in areas such as electrical and telecommunications, HVAC, project management, lighting design, as well as Power & Automation, they offer holistic solutions to clients in construction, energy, and infrastructure.

You will become part of the Power & Automation business area, which was launched in 2021 and today consists of a tightly knit specialist team of eleven employees. Here, you will primarily work in-house together with your colleagues on projects for clients within critical infrastructure, energy facilities, and other technically advanced operations.

The team is characterized by stability, flat hierarchies, and high technical competence. Colleagues support each other, share knowledge, and strengthen community spirit through joint activities throughout the year.

As an Electrical Power Designer, you will have a varied role with a strong focus on design. You will work on multiple projects in parallel, varying in scope and complexity. Over time, there are good opportunities to take greater responsibility and lead your own projects.

Examples of responsibilities include:

• Develop electrical designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Design electrical cabinets, control panels, and switchgear, as well as create layout drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Dimension power supply systems, cable networks, and lighting installations.
• Work with AutoCAD and other dimensioning tools.
• Ensure that electrical designs meet current standards, safety requirements, and functionality.
• Work with safety circuits, such as emergency stop functions and other safety solutions.
• Collaborate with colleagues in power, automation, and other technical fields to create well-functioning holistic solutions.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in electrical design within sectors such as energy, industry, infrastructure, or other technical operations.
• Experience in creating layout drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical design documentation.

Post-secondary education in electrical power, electrical engineering, or similar is meritorious, as is experience with dimensioning tools and work with safety circuits, such as emergency stop functions and machine safety. However, the most important factor is that you have practical experience in electrical design and a good understanding of technical documentation.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary
