Experienced KBF/Prosthodontic Technician at Örestad Expodent Åkesson - Corus Dental Technology AB

We are now looking for an highly experienced dental technician specializing in KBF/prosthetics to join Corus Dental Technology AB (CDT) in Malmö, ÖEÅ. This role is central to the laboratory's production and suits you if you have extensive experience with advanced, complex KBF/prosthetic work and thrive working independently with high quality standards.

About the Role

As an experienced KBF/prosthetic technician, you are responsible for independently planning, designing, manufacturing, and quality-assuring advanced KBF and prosthetic work. The role entails overall responsibility from incoming work to finished construction.

Responsibilities

• Independent handling of the entire workflow within KBF/prosthetics.
• Design and formulation of stable and functional KBF solutions.
• Advanced acrylic work and adaptation to existing fixed constructions.
• Final assembly, grinding, and functional control.
• Assessment of bite conditions and occlusion.
• Advanced tooth setup and individualization.
• Identify and handle technical risks at an early stage.
• Address deviations, complaints, and return jobs.
• Make independent technical decisions in complex cases.
• Act as a technical sounding board for difficult or unclear orders.
• Ensure final results and quality before delivery.

Qualifications

• Trained dental technician.
• At least 10 years of documented experience in KBF work.
• Very good knowledge of acrylic and gypsum materials.
• In-depth knowledge of bite conditions and occlusion.
• Very good ability to work independently and make technical decisions.
• Documented experience with complex and individual cases.
