We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer for an established industrial company in Skövde with advanced, high-tech manufacturing. They are currently strengthening their project team with a mechanical maintenance engineer who will be involved early in the manufacturing development process to ensure that new and rebuilt equipment is reliable and easy to maintain from the start.

You bring maintenance experience and mechanical competence to the forefront of the process, before the equipment is even installed on the floor.

Specifically, this means that you:

• work closely with suppliers to ensure that the customer's requirements for reliability and maintainability are met
• participate in concept and design reviews and monitor that the design follows agreed R&M specifications
• prepare and conduct mechanical inspections during delivery acceptance
• plan for spare parts and wear parts and ensure that the right parts are available in stock
• build preventive maintenance (PM) plans
• develop instructions for mechanical maintenance, including operator-led maintenance activities
• compile and secure the content of maintenance documentation

You have worked with maintenance and mechanics in an industrial environment and are accustomed to thinking about reliability early on, not just when something breaks. You have likely been involved in projects related to new or rebuilt production equipment and know how the interaction with suppliers, design, and production looks in practice.

We believe you have:

• good familiarity with maintenance processes and preventive maintenance
• experience with mechanics in manufacturing industry
• experience with project work related to production, equipment, or machinery
• experience in setting up preventive maintenance plans
• ability to structure and quality-assure technical documentation
• proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have experience from the automotive industry, machinery procurement, inspection/delivery acceptance, or good proficiency in Excel.
