About the role
As a Production Technician, you work close to the manufacturing process and play a central role in developing, optimizing, and securing quality in our processes. The work focuses on CNC programming, CAM preparation, and continuous process development.
You will become part of an engaged team where problem-solving and technical development are at the center. This means many contact surfaces and close collaboration with operators, colleagues, and suppliers.
The position is based during daytime hours in Örebro, and you report to the Production Technology Manager.

- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing methods for new and existing products
- Drive improvement work in machining processes with a focus on productivity and flow
- Ensure quality and stable processes through follow-up, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with production, R&D, quality, and suppliers
Your profile
- Post-secondary education in production technology or equivalent experience from the manufacturing industry
- Documented experience in CNC programming, with a focus on turning
- Good understanding of machining methods, tools, cutting data, and optimization of turning processes
It is an advantage if you have:
- Good knowledge of materials science, machining, reading drawings, and workshop standards
- Experience with CAD/CAM, preferably Mastercam and Mazatrol
- Experience combining practical work with analytical problem-solving
- Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
You are a proactive problem solver with a strong interest in technology and a focus on developing and improving working methods and processes. You thrive in a changing environment where you take initiative and make decisions close to production.
You collaborate smoothly with others and build trust in dialogue with both operators and colleagues. You can also explain technical solutions clearly and engagingly, and you thrive in a role where theory and practice are combined.
