The Fortification Agency is looking for an HVAC Specialist. We are looking for you who have several years of experience in HVAC and want to work with technology development in projects. Strategic role with a socially important focus

The Technology and Development of Fortification and Properties unit (TUFF) is responsible for fortification protection and consists of five groups; Program, Technical Supply, Product Development, Facility and Property, and the Security Development Group, with a total of approximately 70 employees in various specialist roles. One of our main tasks is to develop fortification competence for total defense.

We are now looking for a specialist who will join the Technical Supply group. This group has competence in HVAC, control and regulation technology, fire, electricity, and electrical environments. The group consists of approximately ten employees in total.

The role primarily involves:

• Leading and steering development projects within the technology area,
• supporting the organization and other authorities with specialist competence in the area,
• participating in early stages and feasibility studies within the authority's assignments and development projects,
• conducting environmental monitoring and analyses,
• actively contributing to technology development in the area,
• participating in external collaborations and forums,
• contributing to educational initiatives,
• developing new and revising design guidelines within the HVAC area.

Travel is included in the position.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a technical university/college education or other education that the employer deems suitable. You have several years of experience working in the HVAC field, preferably in complex facilities, and can apply your knowledge regarding HVAC. It is also a requirement to have technical system knowledge related to the HVAC area where great attention is paid to the whole and function. You have experience in supporting and leading large projects.

The role requires very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English in speech and writing. It is also a requirement that you are a Swedish citizen, are a proficient user of the Office package, and have good administrative skills. A driver's license, class B, is also a requirement.

You are also analytical and can tackle complex problems by being creative and contributing new ideas and methods to solve various challenges. The position is a permanent placement located in Eskilstuna. Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as positions at the Fortification Agency are security classified.
